Paragraph and Paper Structure

Your teacher has given you a writing assignment. You fully understand the assignment. You’ve done any relevant readings, annotated your texts, and started finding quotes as outlined in our Reading for Writing section. You’ve done any necessary preparations (such as creating an outline).  Now, it’s time to start writing!

The guides in this section will help you construct topic sentences and paragraphs, organize your paper, create a thesis statement, and learn to write more clearly.
